GUARD

GUARD (Giant-breed United Advocates & Rescue Division) is a non-profit organization, devoted to helping giant-breed dogs.

GUARD operates entirely on the dedication of volunteers; we have no paid staff. Like any humane organization, we help both people and pets…specifically, giant breed dogs.

The breed we encounter most often (and are the most well versed with) is the Great Dane…we do not often have other giants, as Danes tend to be the #1 “breed in need” in the giant breed rescue world. However, GUARD is dedicated to helping as much as possible with other giants, such as Mastiffs, Wolfhounds, Deerhounds, Borzoi, St Bernards, and others — either within our rescue, or ensuring the dog safely reaches its breed-specific rescue.
